Our reef fishing adventures offer opportunities to pursue mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, yelloweye snapper, large grouper, queen snapper, and the unique Atlantic scombrops one of the region's most fascinating deep-water species. Depending on conditions, anglers may fish shallow reef structure in crystal-clear water or explore deeper reefs and ledges where some of Puerto Rico's largest bottom fish are found.
Every trip is equipped to fish with a variety of techniques, from live bait—when nature provides and bait is available locally to artificial presentations including topwater lures, stickbaits, vertical jigging, and slow pitch jigging. Whether you're watching a snapper explode on a surface lure over a shallow reef or feeling the powerful strike of a deep-water species hundreds of feet below the boat, each trip offers a unique and exciting challenge.
Clients are welcome to bring their own lures, jigs, and specialty tackle. Our crew will gladly assist with rigging and technique recommendations; however, anglers are responsible for any personal fishing equipment brought aboard. Due to the nature of reef fishing around heavy structure, coral formations, and deep-water terrain, the loss or damage of lures, jigs, hooks, lines, and terminal tackle can occur and should be expected as part of the fishing experience.
